Nukketeatteri - Tervetuloa helvettiin 7'' (1982)

Aight mofo, time for some finnish punk rock. You know the drill, intense and swinging scandicore. Don't know shit about this band to be honest, more than that this record rocks.

Oh yeah, thank you for all the comments. It really makes blogging more fun, so don't be afraid to comment. Cheers!

D.N.A. - The Halloween Tapes EP (1987)

D.N.A. has been a favorite band of mine for a long time. They are pretty original sounding and have a really gloomy and melancolic edge to their music. But this is no fucking goth music, it's raw as fuck råpunk! Classic stuff!

Nillen on vocals also was also the first singer in Anti Cimex, and that alone should be enough.

Anti Cimex - Live at Birkagården 1985

Sorry for being lazy about the blog, but working full time takes it's toll I'm afraid.. anyways.. have been blasting Anti Cimex in the mp3-player all week! Perfect soundtrack when sitting on the tube looking at all the brainless clones...

Here's a less common recording, but trust me, this is powerfull stuff! Total fucking live onslaught of merciless d-beat swedish style! You can feel the frustration and anger!

Kriticka Situace - Zejtra je nám dvacet (1988)

More great punk from eastern europe. This time it's Kriticka Situace from Czech Republic. I think they're still active today, but this is early crude recording. Good stuff!

Existenz - s/t 7" (1983)

Ultra rare swedish hard core ripper! This is the swedish sound we all love. Maybe this will cure my hangover.... aaargh!

Existenz - s/t 12" (1983)

Watabout - Snutstat 7" (1979)

This is an overlooked classic if you ask me. Fucking tight sounding punk rock with hints of oi!
Oh yeah, it's a swedish band if there whas any doubt.

T.S.T. - s/t 12" (1984)

T.S.T. (The Shock Treatment) are one of those bands I've always liked. I remember my adolescent punk years, sitting in my room in rural sweden listening to stuff like this and drinking folköl (the peoples beer 3,5% alc, it's a swedish thing). Good times, punk rock is a great cure for emo:ish teenage angst! :)

This record, which I like to call "sweden-tolvan" is a great example of how great the band was. I really think they need the same treatment as The Bristles for example. How sweet would'nt it be with a fancy discography digi-pack! Oh well, until then enjoy this!

Gunnerzide - Demo 1983

Kind of obscure swedish band from this era, but never the less very fucking good. For any fan of the early swedish stuff.. Teenage punk rule and don't forget to vägra värnplikt!
A band from the town Gävle.
13-15 year old members.
Had songs on the "Kloak Skrål" Tape.
Recorded 1983 at K.A.A.S
by Micke Blomqvist
This tape was released in 50 copies only.

La Broma de SSatán - Maxi '82

What a great find! Brilliant sounding early spanish up beat punk rock, with a street edge.

Spinki Menta - Erekcija leitenanta kireeva tape (1987)

Here's a tape with siberian punkers Spinki Menta. Spinki Menta was made up of members from the infamous Grazhdanskaya Oborona and Chernyi Lukich. They pretty much share the same sound as these bands as well. This may not be for everyone, but for the punk rock connoisseur it's a must. It's sort of a mixture of russian punk and folk. No-Fi of corpse!

Help me identify these tunes!!!

I've had this mix tape for about 15-17 years now. It was one of the reasons I got into to punk in the first place. I dubbed it from my big sisters boyfriend back then, and it has bands like Rövsvett, Asta Kask, Slobobans Undergång etc. Since then I have tracked down all the records on the tape, with one exception. There is a band with two songs that I have not been able to identify or track down in any way. It really haunts me to this day. That's why I wan't to summon the mighty powers of the internets. Download the songs and identify the band and record. It would really make me sleep easier.

Mysterious swedish punk band: song 1 song 2

Krixhjälters - s/t (1984)

To be be honest I'm not a big fan of this band, but this specific release really gets to me. Pay special attention to the second track, "Bränt barn luktar illa". Really creative swedish hard core!

Krixhjälters - s/t (1984)

Siekiera - Demo 1984

Aaaargh! This polish band really cranked out some harsh noisy punk! Painfully underrated if you ask me, and every fan of extreme hard core punk need this in their collection.

Oink oink!

This is what the cops have under their uniforms when facing protesters...
